YOUR APPLICATION

We're looking for storytellers with a distinct voice, an original point of view, and a character or world worth living in who care deeply about what their story does for a kid.

DO YOU ILLUSTRATE OR HAVE AN ILLUSTRATION PARTNER?
Have you written for kids TV or other children's media?

Your pitch

This doesn't need to be a polished deck. A one-pager or even rough notes are fine. We're looking for the strength of the idea, not the production value of the pitch.

Your pitch should cover:

  • Who is the main character and what makes them distinct
  • Who are the supporting characters and what is their relationship to the main character
  • What age does the show target
  • What world do they live in
  • What does a kid feel or take away after watching an episode
  • How does the show deliver its message — through song, repetition, humor, or another device

If you have existing story material, visual references, character art, or a mood board, feel free to include them — but this is not required.
